Project Overview
In 2024, Marks & Spencer partnered with Huntapac Produce to showcase how cutting-edge technology is revolutionising farming. They were testing a drone capable of fertilising crops more efficiently and a robot that could plough fields autonomously, improving environmental sustainability and farming efficiency. KovalevFilm was brought on to produce a video that highlighted these innovations, designed for use on LinkedIn to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the advancements in agricultural technology.
The Brief
Marks & Spencer and Huntapac wanted a short, engaging video that demonstrated the use of drone technology and robotic ploughing on a parsnip field in Yorkshire. The video needed to emphasise the environmental benefits and increased efficiency these technologies bring to modern farming. With a tight schedule, the project required a quick turnaround, and the first draft was delivered within a week.

KovalevFilm aimed to create an informative and engaging narrative around the integration of technology in farming. Filming focused on capturing the drone and robot in action, along with interviews that explained their benefits. Production Process
• Planning: Collaborated closely with Marks & Spencer and Huntapac to understand the core messaging—showcasing how technology benefits efficiency and sustainability in farming.
• Filming: A two-person crew, including a self-shooting director and sound, captured the footage on-site in Yorkshire. The focus was on the drone and robot in action, complemented by interviews with key personnel.
• Post-Production: The video was edited within a week, with attention to ensuring a clear narrative that demonstrated the technology’s impact while maintaining an engaging, behind-the-scenes feel.
